To anyone who is on the fence about whether to travel to Seoul, Korea, here is a visual diary of my trip to the beautiful country.
I fell in love. I fell in love with Seoul, Korea on my trip to this beautiful country.
Seoul has got to be one of my favourite places to visit. There’s just something oddly romantic about this city. Love hangs in the air everywhere I went. Couples declaring their love for one another at the N Seoul Tower (Namsan). Families hanging out in Hangang Park. Elderly couples exercising beside the Hangang River. Passionate street performers in Myeongdong. It’s no wonder why Korea’s entertainment scene, be it music, movie or dramas, are so popular and widely loved. Inspirations can be found just about everywhere in the city. At every turn and in every corner.
Another reason why Seoul has captured my heart is the food. As the saying goes, a way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. Well it applies to women too! I can’t speak for all women but it’s definitely true for me. I love Korean food. If I were to only be able to eat a single type of cuisine everyday, every meal, for the rest of my life, it would be Korean food. Boy did I enjoy every meal I had when I was there. And I’m not talking about only those that made the lists of “Things You Must Eat” Seoul guides the internet has no lack of. I meant the more mundane kind, like simple fried chicken, kimchi fried rice, noodles soup, just to name a few. I made it a point to take photos of the places I ate at and left incredibly satisfied so as to visit once more before I left Korea and hopefully again soon in the future. Yes, it’s that good!
A week in Seoul was definitely not enough. So many places I have yet to visit and food I have yet to try. Not to mention other parts out of Seoul I would love to explore like Jeju and Busan. I hope this visual diary of my trip to Seoul, Korea inspired you guys to book that ticket, made you want to visit Seoul in the near future or at least cause you to want to travel more. I recently also travelled to Thailand. Feel free to head on over there to check it out!
I personally can’t wait to visit Korea again! Till next time, my love.
